That would be very easy command to do with the G15, the key will be assigning the key via customizing your keyboard in gw

open your F11 panel to controls make your number target party member 1-8, keypad #1-8 then open the G15 control panel or you just use the quick macro setting and press 3 then where ever infuse is located on your bar. set it to a Gkey and when your press that key you will target party member what ever you have it set to and cast infuse.

For monking purposes i just find it easy to make the num pad teh party selecter like i mentioned above and but your first 5 key skills in slots one thru five

that way you only need to press one key to target and one key to use spell an that leaves your mouse free to kite etc.

Do you switch between 123/wasd and the numpad with your left hand?

there is no way you will get banned from using it as Anet state that Marco keys are allowed, as long as they are not being controlled by a bot.

Actually, no.

If a system functions like a bot, allowing you to be absent from the computer, Anet is likely to stop you. It's not the means, but rather the result: if it looks like a bot, quacks like a bot, it probably is a bot...

Remember, some G15 users were banned precisely for that. There was a long thread on this very forum about it...

theres no way to get banned from:
"target party member 3"
"activate skill number 8"

unless its part of a much bigger script

but seeing as the op is aksing how to perform such a simple task
im not sure if he has the kno-how to make a fully-automated script
(no offense)

Yea it would be easy. Go into controls and bind a regular key to target party member three. Begin recording the macro, press the target party member 3 button and then press the number that your infuse skill is. That should be all you need to do.

My left hand sits on 1234
Pinky=1, Ring=2, Middle =3, Index=4 and 5; and the c and v button everynow and then, Thumb=Space Bar. Escape button is bound to Stop all actions, Weapon sets F1-F4.

Thats all my left hand does

As for my right hand for party targeting purposes It normaly stays on teh Numberpad that I have set to target Partymembers 1-9 as numbers 1-9 and the zero key is set to command party for flag purposes in PvE

If I'm not targeting party members I normaly just sit on the arrows and then use my mouse to use skills 6-8 if needed or just click to move.

The thread on this forum was explaining that anet gave back the accounts to the people over the double faction weekend that where accused of using bots for HFFF.

They went from having a Perma Ban to a lesser 2-week ban and there accounts returned.

It has been stated before that G15 Keyboards are not against the EULA as long as you use them in normal manners. Making small macros like Picking up drops, targeting, calling, etc are aloud where you hit the red line is when your making a macro to physical perform a task that you are not at the computer commanding. A Bot in a MMO consist of a large script doing multiple actions to reap benefits while no player interaction is involved. People could set a script to place the flags, get teh qeust, and the reward collect 10k, Map to GH donate, and repeat all while they did nothing physically interactive to the game but press the script start button and walk away.

I do believe there were TWO long threads. One about the macros and another about the FFF botters. Two different issues.

Apologies for bringing up an old thread - just got myself a g15 keyboard.

How exactly do you use the macros to say, use an item within my inventory.
Say Alcohol, im not looking to bot it, just im lazy to keep going into my inv and double click with alc when im vanquishing - id rather just press one button.

looking through responses in this thread and a few others i searched it seems fine to do so, as it requires human input to activate.

Any ideas G15 users?

Cheers
